I started chainsaw carving at 16 by becoming an apprentice to a well known carver up in Washington state. I fell in love with the art and it quickly became more than just a hobby. I chainsaw carved in Washington for about 7 years before moving down to sunny Orange County, California. Now I carve with locally sourced redwoods, pines, and oaks then ship them out to my customers nationwide. I regularly drive up and down the west coast for Chainsaw Carving competitions as well as meeting with customers. I compete in the international Chainsaw Carving competition in Reedsport, Oregon every year and am hoping to participate in even more competitions internationally.
